I took the chicken pieces and put them in the yogurt sauce and then rolled them in cornflakes. I kept them cold for half an hour.

We will then prepare the marinade in which we will leave the chicken overnight, so that it has an amazing aroma, not a bland and unpleasant taste. Finely chop the onion, peel the garlic cloves and then grind each one. We will add three tablespoons of sunflower oil, the juice of half a lemon, a little salt and a little pepper.

You can also add a teaspoon of turmeric if you like this spice. Many housewives add it for its wonderful color that it imposes on the chicken breast. We will put the strips of meat in this mixture, leaving them to cool overnight, in a bowl that closes tightly to intertwine.

Preparing the crispy crust for crispy chicken strips

In order to be able to prepare the crispy, we will need to prepare the dishes beforehand, so that it will be easier for us to form the layers on the chicken strips. In front of us we will have the containers with high walls in which we will put the ingredients in this order: first the flour, then a container with the beaten egg, and the last bowl will be the one with the cornflakes.

In order to move on to the next step, ie frying the chicken breast strips, it will be necessary to have a deeper pan in which to put about half a liter of sunflower oil. It is necessary to put plenty of oil so that the chicken pieces do not touch the bottom of the pan when they are placed in it.

We will put about two fingers of oil, any pan needing a frying in hot oil to create the necessary thermal shock. After making sure that the oil in the pan is hot enough, we will turn on the stove at medium temperature and we will put in the pan a few strips of crispy.

We do not add too much at once, because the temperature drops suddenly, and they will stay in the oil as long as the temperature rises again. We do not want the pieces of meat to soak in oil, because they become nauseous and difficult to serve. It is better to fry in several rounds separately, letting the oil heat up each time.

We will leave them for about four minutes on the first side, then we will turn them on the other side and we will leave them for another two minutes to fry. It is not necessary to leave them for more than six minutes to be ready and nicely browned. Each time before putting a new slice in the frying pan, we will make sure that the oil is hot enough so that the chicken strips are ready quickly.
