Pork in sweet and sour sauce with pineapple It is such a good recipe and so easy to prepare, that you will no longer buy Chinese food from companies that deliver at home and, I honestly think, you will stop by the restaurant less often after you have cooked the recipe below at home. Chinese New Year is knocking at the door (starting on February 16), so I thought I'd bring you a new recipe with an interesting combination of tastes, textures and flavors.

Sweet and sour are two of the five flavors of Chinese cuisine, along with salty, bitter or spicy.

Chinese food is famous all over the world, with its own cooking style, which makes you crave only when you start to smell it. Chinese recipes are very much based on sauces and spices.

When we want to cook something from Chinese cuisine we have to make sure we have some basic ingredients in the house: salt, ginger, garlic, green onions, soy sauce, Oyster sauce, sesame oil, starch, rice vinegar, wine rice, hot pepper sauce or hot pepper paste, soy paste, a mixture of 5 spices and Sichuan pepper.

Chinese cuisine is tasty, recipes are generally prepared quickly, but we must take into account the cooking techniques specific to this cuisine. You may have heard of & # 8220stir frying & # 8221, & # 8220deep frying & # 8221; These are the main methods of cooking.

One of the secrets used by Chinese chefs is to preheat the wok before adding oil.. When the oil is added, it is poured in a circle to reach as large a perimeter of the vessel as possible. Another important tip is that then when we start cooking we have everything washed, cleaned, cut and put at hand. You can't stop cooking to chop onions or grate some ginger. Everything must be cursive.

Coming back to pork recipe in sweet and sour pineapple sauce, I must emphasize that although the cooking times seem short, the meat and vegetables are perfectly cooked in the end, so that the meat is tender (not fried too much), and the vegetables are slightly crispy.

It is one of the tastiest recipes for pork with pineapple in sweet and sour sauce that I have tasted.

I also prepared other recipes with a sweet-sour taste, which quickly became my friends' favorites: pork in sweet and sour sauce or sweet and sour chicken with pineapple. You can find many other recipes in Chinese cuisine here. I made the video recipe only for the Chinese omelette with tomatoes, but I hope to make other recipes soon, so I invite you to subscribe to my channel You Tube to keep up to date with the news.

If you prepare the recipe, I look forward to the pictures, and if you share it, you have my anticipated thanks.

Chinese food lovers will be delighted with my proposal, so here's how easy it is to prepare:

For the marinade:

For cooking:

2 young green onions (not too thick)

1 teaspoon with grated ginger tip

1 teaspoon crushed garlic (3 large dogs)

1/4 teaspoon hot pepper flakes

2 tablespoons marinade (what remains after draining the meat)

Cut the pork chop into strips of the right size. Prepare the marinade in a bowl and pour it over the strips of meat placed in a large bowl. Leave the meat in the fridge for about an hour.

Shortly before removing the meat from the cold, cut the vegetables, pineapple into strips, chop the onion, grate the ginger, grind the garlic and prepare the sauce, in which we will add the rest of the marinade.

Remove the meat, drain it (2 tablespoons of this drained marinade will be put over the sauce that will be put towards the end of the recipe), put the starch over it and mix so that it is as well covered as possible. Preheat the wok, pour the circular oil and when it is hot (it will not take long if the dish is hot), put the meat and fry it over medium heat for about 2 minutes.

After this interval, remove the meat and put the vegetables in the same oil for 1 minute, add the ginger and garlic and cook for another 30-45 seconds.

Put the meat over the vegetables, add the pineapple, season with pepper flakes to taste, then pour 150 ml of water.

Put the lid on and let it cook for 3 minutes. After this interval we take the lid, pour the sauce containing pineapple juice and starch and leave the wok without the lid. Stir from time to time so as not to miss.

We stop the fire when the sauce gains consistency. We eat immediately with a garnish of steamed rice, rice with vegetables or plain fried rice.
